Recently, our thriving counter-culture communities have been rocked by allegations of sexual assault and other forms of boundary violations. In light of these allegations, we are called to the table to explore why and how this has happened within communities that value openness, freedom of expression, personal sovereignty, and connection. And--what we can do, as individuals and communities, to uplift and heal each other and our world? This series is designed as an offering to provide the building blocks for greater awareness and an empowered community response. In partnership with local non-profits and community educators, we will explore these issues with compassion, understanding, and a commitment to building safer containers for our shared growth and evolution. This is an opportunity for us to grow as a community. We gather to learn, to challenge, and to consider: How do we ask for the kind of healthy intimacy we yearn for, and define our boundaries with others? How do we become the guardians of our spaces, so we can lovingly and swiftly respond when boundary violations happen? How can we better hold our sisters and brothers who have been violated, and call transgressors back into integrity? Let’s come together to find positive ways of addressing these challenges from the root! Together, we will be the change we wish to see, and step into a new era of connectivity, freedom, accountability, and support. ~*~ This event will continually be updated with more information so please stay tuned ~*~ $10 suggested donation, no one turned away for lack of funds.
