Kaleidoscope is a play about modern relationships that take strange shapes. What happens when we break the rules around love & sex? The play features two 30-something Portland couples whose new friendship develops into romance. These are uncharted waters for all of them. The relationship deepens until they're all living together and even talking about kids. It seems they've found a way to rewrite the rules of modern partnership! Then it comes out that one of the couples is not what they seem, and everyone must decide what to do next... Kaleidoscope is by Naga Nataka, co-founder of the Missoula-based theatre group The Open Field Artists. This will be a staged reading as part of Portland's Fertile Ground Festival of New Works.
