Birding communities run deep in the northwest and birders nationwide number around 47 million! Have you ever thought about taking up birding as a hobby, but have yet look into it? Already an avid birder? Whatever the case, join Johnson Creek Watershed Council and the Portland Audobon Society for a special edition Science Talk: A Year in Birds! This family-friendly event will host local experts and birders to discuss some of the amazing flying friends that have graced our watershed over the past year.

We will have local water experts talking about green infrastructure like bioswales, and what we can do at home to prevent runoff into our precious streams in the Pacific Northwest.
