The 2017 Theatre Communications Group National Conference will include a Maker Faire featuring makers and artists from Portland. This year, TCG is excited to invite a group of Portland Makers to join us at our Wednesday night Welcome and Pre-Registration Party at the Hilton Portland Downtown. As we are taking over Portland for the weekend, we wanted to be sure to showcase some of the amazing work of the artists in the city. Stop by the Hilton on Wednesday from 6:00-9:00pm to get signed in, connect with our exhibitors, meet some fellow attendees, and check out the local talent (and possibly bring a piece of Portland home with you!). Overcup Press is excited to be a part of the Maker Faire, along with these other local makers: http://www.tcg.org/Events/NationalConference/TCGinPDX/MakerFair.aspx

This program will improve the audience’ understanding of the legal, ethical, and economic impact of the Affordable Care Act. World-renowned health policy experts will provide academic input of key policy implications around access, payment, quality, and data transparency. 2014 Wayne Morse Gala Join Senator Ron Wyden, Senator Jeff Merkley, former Governor Barbara Roberts, and our special Keynote Speaker—David Brock, founder of Media Matters—for the 2014 Wayne Morse Gala at the Portland Hilton. David and Media Matters have been on the front lines since 2004, pushing back hard against the lies and distortions of the right-wing media machine and standing up for the truth every day. Recently, it was David Brock and Media Matters who took the lead to expose the phony Benghazi reporting and smear campaign against Secretary Hillary Clinton and the State Department, and forced CBS and 60 Minutes to retract the piece at the foundation of it. Watch David in action on CNN.
