It’s time once again for downtown Portland to be overrun by dancers and spectators from across the globe! August 10th through 12th, you, too can be a part of the magic that is JamBallah Northwest - A weekend of belly dance and fusion in the heart of Portland. JamBallah NW features three days of movement and lecture workshops by world-class instructors, the JamBallah Showcase evenings Night I and Night II featuring professional dance performances by the instructors and specially curated attendees, two Festival Shows featuring attendees from across the globe, as well as extensive vending with ‘alterna-chic’ workout and streetwear, handmade and imported jewelry, and fabulous costumes open to the public available throughout the weekend. Extensive Artisan Vendor Faire, free entry and open to the public – open hours Friday, Aug. 10th, 1PM-7PM, Saturday, Aug. 11th, 11:30AM-7:30PM, Sunday, Aug. 12th, 11AM-3:30PM. “JamBallah NW Showcase, Night I and Night II” – Two Opulent Extravaganzas of Experimental Fusion and Traditional World Dance!
