Dance Naked Productions Artistic Director Eleanor O’Brien explores the search for love, lust and life partners in this candid look at modern marriage. Does hot monogamy exist? Can polyamory save the happily ever after? #WWDSD? (“What Would Dan Savage Do?”) Venue: The Catalyst Art & Culture Space 4810 NE Garfield Ave, Portland OR 97211 Show Dates: Jan30th @ 8pm; Jan 31 @10pm Feb 1 @10pm Feb 6 @ 8pm Feb 7 @ 8pm Feb 8 @ 8pm Tickets: $10 at the door (reserve tickets at https://www.boxofficetickets.com/bot/wa/event?id=256885 or through www.dancenakedproductions.com) Lust & Marriage appears as part of the Fertile Ground New Works festival. A workshop production, O’Brien is developing this piece in partnership with renown solo show coach and director Tanya Taylor Rubinstein, thanks in part to a generous 2013 RACC project grant. O’Brien is known for edgy, authentic stories that illuminate aspects of sexuality often labeled “private.” In this revealing solo performance, she examines cultural beliefs around monogamy, monotony, jealousy and polyamory from a highly personal perspective. http://www.facebook.com/events/394596540685875/
