Plant and mulch native trees and shrubs and remove invasive plants at the fourth annual Rock Creek Watershed-Wide Restoration Event! No experience is necessary and all are welcome -- families, neighbors, and friends! Pre-registration is required. Please save your spot at this popular event by REGISTERING HERE. Gloves, tools and guidance are provided, as well as lots of tasty food. Please come dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes and get ready to have fun! There will be live music, a delicious variety of breakfast and lunch goodies, and raffle prizes! The staging site will once again be the Galaxy Barn at Pendarvis Farm - site of the renowned Pickathon Music Festival. The event will begin promptly at 9:00am, so we ask for everyone to arrive by 8:45am to the staging site to get registered and assigned to a crew, as well as to enjoy hot coffee and breakfast treats. The event will wrap-up around 1:00pm. Rock Creek is an important tributary of the Clackamas River, which provides high quality drinking water to more than 300,000 people and provides critical habitat for many sensitive species of plants, fish and wildlife. Please contact Jenny or Randi at (503) 595-0213 if you have any questions or need more information. We hope to work with you -- and don’t forget to pre-register! === The Rock Creek Partnership was formed in 2011 and is a collaboration between the Clackamas River Basin Council, Friends of Trees, and SOLVE and is supported with funding from Clackamas County Water Environment Services, on behalf of Clackamas Service District No. 1.
