Camerata PYP opens its Season 93 concert series at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the Wieden+Kennedy building in Northwest Portland’s Pearl District. Made up of selected Portland Youth Philharmonic musicians, Camerata PYP invites you to explore an extraordinary range of familiar and rarely heard repertoire in an intimate venue. This season, the orchestra will explore large chamber works, including two ethereal and frenetic movements by Russian composer and pianist Dmitri Shostakovich, a tango inspired composition by Argentinean-born musician Osvaldo Golijov, a Dvořák classic, and much more. Made up of selected Portland Youth Philharmonic musicians, Camerata PYP invites you to explore an extraordinary range of familiar and rarely heard repertoire in an intimate venue as it opens its Season 93 concert series.
