Whitaker Ponds Nature Park
Columbia Slough Watershed Council calls Whitaker Ponds Nature Park its home. Here and all around the Slough, the Council works to connect the community with the watershed through restoration, recreation and education for children and adults. Whitaker Ponds is a great site for bird watching, canoeing, kayaking, walking or jogging. Drop by the Council's office for more information or visit our website, www.columbiaslough.org. We want to connect you with the watershed!

@Whitaker Ponds Nature Park
Over the last several years you, our volunteers, have planted hundreds of native plants around Whitaker Ponds Nature Park. Now you can help these plants thrive by sheet mulching and removing invasive plant competitors. Many hands make light work, so register your friends and family now for this group-friendly volunteer activity. We’ll be mulching plants, planting natives and helping beautify the grounds. This event runs rain or shine! Be sure to dress for the weather and bring water, rain gear and sturdy shoes. Snacks, tools, training and gloves will be provided. Register for this event here. For event details, contact Community Involvement Coordinator Hanna Davis at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 503.281.1132 *We hope to see you out here on the Slough!*
