WHO: People will be gathering outside to hold colorful signs and banners during breaks in the hearing, urging the Port to deny the lease extension and terminate the lease altogether. Speakers are expected to include a wide variety of voices including local neighborhood leaders, physicians, faith leaders, elected officials, firefighters, climate activists and longshoremen. WHEN: Tuesday, 9:30 AM to 9 PM. Doors open at 8 AM. The hearing begins at 9:30 AM. Testimony is expected to begin at 10:30 AM, according to the Port. People can take a lottery ticket if they would like to testify, and these tickets will be chosen at random. You must obtain a ticket by 7 PM if you hope to speak. Testimony will be limited to 2 minutes per person. WHERE: Gaiser Hall at Clark College, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver. HOW: The hearing begins at 9:30 AM.
