Friends of Clark County (FOCC), along with our friend Dan Weber, is hosting a fundraising concert, with buffet dinner! Join musical guest Dan Weber, to celebrate and support FOCC’s two decades of work to preserve and enhance the quality of life that makes Clark County such a desirable place to live. The March 19th fundraiser will bring to life the theme from Dan’s latest album “What I’m Lookin’ For” by highlighting FOCC’s hopes and dreams for a future that includes a thriving, robust local agriculture system and by sharing news about the current challenges we face to preserving a future where farmers have options to grow food and create value-added agricultural products and consumer have easy and reliable access to healthy, locally grown food. Join us as we hear from local farmers about what they’re lookin’ for, enjoy the music of Dan Weber, and raise funds to support FOCC. Chef Sebastian Carosi from Ridgefield’s Fuel Bistro will be creating a meal to remember featuring locally farmed ingredients. Carosi has a Farm to Fork beginning and has strong ties to our local food system. Tickets are on sale at www.friendsofclarkcounty.org/DanWeber for $35.00 if purchased prior to March 5th, and $40.00 after that date or at the door. For more information contact Heather Tischbein at 360-944-2390 or htischbein@wa-net.com. This fund raising event provides is an opportunity for our friends and allies to learn the most up-to-date information on what FOCC is doing to promote smart growth in Clark County and to join in the action necessary to reclaim an agenda of protecting and preserving local agriculture.
