Katie Strawn, FNP, DNP, of the UP School of Nursing and Columbia University orthopedic surgeon Joseph Dutkowsky, M.D., shine a light on the chaos of the healthcare debate through the lenses of faith and science. This event is a collaboration by the School of Nursing and the Garaventa Center. Katie Strawn is an adjunct instructor for the School of Nursing. She is a nurse practitioner and she received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Arizona. Joseph Dutkowsky specializes in Pediatric Orthopedics and Cerebral Palsy. He received his M.D. from Brown University and his B.S. from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute. This past December, he published his first book, Perfectly Human, which chronicles his journey in discovering divinity in the midst of imperfect humanity.
