A holiday circus spectacular, a tribute to The Beatles, and an annual reunion of the Cascadian Freak Family. STARRING The Nowhere Band and Wanderlust Circus Dec 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, and 10 Doors at 7pm Show at 8pm PLUS ONE MATINEE Sunday Dec 4, Doors at 1, Show at 2pm Buy your tickets early - these shows always sell out. Oh boy oh boy - It's time once again for White Album Christmas. I think this is our 9th annual? I honestly don't know. What I do know is, we've got another fun family fable of life on the Endless Road ready to go, with all the perfectly-expressed Beatles classics and jaw-dropping circus artists that put our little show on the map. Our 15-piece band plays the entirety of the legendary "White Album" - all the strings, all the horns, all the vocals, and all the weirdness - while acrobats, aerialsts, jugglers, and more fill the stage with wonders. Our cast this year features Wanderlust favorites young and old: Leapin' Louie NagaSita AWOL Dance Rose-city Acro Devils Tera Zarra Indigo Sky William Batty and the marionette puppetry of Adam Goldthwaite plus special surprise guests, a little bit different every night more about THE NOWHERE BANDS The Nowhere Bands evolved from the Kaosmosis events of yesteryear created by John Averill and Darcy Avalon. Johns vision was for the band to appear for the show and disappear into the ether after- thus we were Nowhere. Since those simple times we have done dozens of shows under many names (Queens of Oblivion, Mixtape Conspiracy, Neverly Brothers, Lewis and Clark Expedition Ltd., Stynx, Manaconda, etc. etc.) playing everything from Bowie to Fleetwood Mac, U2, Judas Priest, the entire Beatles White Album, the Everly Brothers, and on and on. Players rotate in and out but the heart of this remains the same. Whatever freakish seed was planted in those early days has grown beyond us as individuals and has become it's own entity, driving us on what has become an epic journey, exploring and experiencing the music of the great artists of the last century. Someone said that we're not a cover band so much as an art installation. An art installation that thinks art is really, really fun. I think that sums it up. The Nowhere Band is: Carl Solovox John Averill (MarchFourth!) Jason Wells (Saloon Ensemble) Ryan Moore (MarchFourth!) Arthur Parker (Love Gigantic) Sarah King (Love Gigantic) Joe Mengis (Stereovision) David Langenes (Stolen Sweets) Chet Lyster (Eels, The Jayhawks) MarchFourth! Horns and The NWB Strings more about WANDERLUST CIRCUS The ways of the Circus are older than the nightclubs, older than the banks, older than the cities. These most ancient of performative traditions have always existed just slightly to the left of the Mundane World. Now, at the first flickering of the 21st Century, our piebald clan is once again shedding its skin and remaking itself in the funhouse mirror image of The Second Great Depression. To aid and abet this latest glorious rebirth, Wanderlust has established itself as the premiere circus operation in The City of Roses, helmed by Noah Mickens and drawing from a roster of performers, designers and technicians from all the greatest shows on Earth. Acrobats, aerialists, hand balancers, stilt dancers, trick ropers, jugglers and jazz-bos, crooners and clowns - these arts are our chosen creed, our map through the wilderness. Ours is a story of an immortal carnie family blessed and cursed to live forever on the endless road that runs between all ports of call, past every sight and across every barrier. The logic of dreams pervades the spaces between the action onstage and the lives of the characters backstage, and from those artifices to the True World of performer and audience. This show features a FULL BAR! ALL AGES WELCOME with adult accompaniment Limited premium seating available, with guaranteed placement in the front-center section. Intensely beautiful. One Hundred Mules Walking the Los Angeles Aqueduct (Artist’s Cut, 2015) is a documentary of a journey with a string of one hundred mules, that drew a line, between Los Angeles and a major source of its water in the Eastern Sierra. This one-month meditation and artwork was undertaken by Lauren Bon and the Metabolic Studio to commemorate the centenary of the opening of the Los Angeles Aqueduct on Nov. 5, 2013. Mules were an important component of the labor force that made the building of the aqueduct possible. This artist action paid homage to the quiet dignity of the mule and the patient pace of its progress across the western epic landscape. http://www.facebook.com/events/479869608856929/

After seven months of recuperation, Greg Allison is ready to rejoin Three For Silver. While some of you have seen him at shows for a few weeks, July 30th will allow us to officially celebrate his full time return to the band, and the return of the trio, at The Kennedy School's most excellent ballroom. Lucas, Willo, and Greg will be playing material they have been unable to perform since his injury, as well as debuting a batch of brand new songs. No other bands, no other acts, just two sets from Three For Silver and all of you and it'll be totally free and all ages Also, since it is the Kennedy School, we can all get in the soaking pool afterwords. Think about it... http://www.facebook.com/events/1456171188034429/
