Rock Creek Watershed Wide Event (Happy Valley)

Description

Plant and mulch native trees and shrubs and remove invasive plants at the fifth annual Rock Creek Watershed-Wide Restoration Event! Rock Creek is an important tributary of the Clackamas River, which provides high quality drinking water to more than 300,000 people and provides critical habitat for many sensitive species of plants, fish and wildlife.

Registration is not open for this event yet, please check-back in early 2017 or contact Volunteer@FriendsofTrees.org to secure your spot.

Gloves, tools and planting guidance are provided, as well as a variety of tasty breakfast food and coffee/hot chocolate. Please come dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes and get ready to have fun!

The staging site will once again be the Galaxy Barn at Pendarvis Farm - site of the renowned Pickathon Music Festival. To round out the fun there will be raffle prizes and live music!

Please contact Jenny or Randi at (503) 595-0213 if you have any questions or need more information.
