Memorial Park Planting, Wilsonville
Memorial Park is 126 acres and Wilsonville's largest park. We will be meeting near the community gardens on the north east side of the park and planting along Boeckman Creek which is home to Chinook salmon, steelhead and Cutthroat trout. We will be planting native trees and shrubs as well as removing some invasive plants from the area.
This planting is in partnership with the City of Wilsonville.
Please arrive around 8:45am to be registered and assigned to a crew. The planting will start promptly at 9:00am. We provide breakfast snacks and hot chocolate/coffee, as well as gloves, tools and guidance. Please come dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes and get ready to have fun!
