Depave for Salmon at MHCC
Important Venue Notes
Polluted rain water flows untreated into Beaver Creek on the Mt. Hood Community College campus where endangered salmon live. Come help us change that! Sandy River Basin Watershed Council, Depave, and Mt. Hood Community College invite you to take part in a volunteer work party. We will pull up pavement in the main parking lots E, F, G, and H to install rain gardens to filter pollution -all with minimal parking loss.
All ages are welcome, no experience needed. Wear long pants and close-toed shoes required, and bring a water bottle. We will provide the necessary tools, gloves, safety gear, and lunch. There will be activities for kids, and we will be located just down the street from the Gresham Saturday Market.
Come and use your muscles to help the salmon!
