"Girls' Night Out" Concert
The Women's Chorale and the women of the University Singers are joining other female singers from the local community for a "Girls' Night Out" concert on April 25 at 7:30 p.m. in Buckley Center Auditoriy=um. Each choir will be featured before all participants will join voices and come together for a powerful celebratory conclusion to recognize the many talented and strong female singers in the UP and local community.
About the Women's Chorale
The group sings in a wide mix of choral styles that range from the Renaissance and into the 21st century. The Women's Chorale performs between 6-10 annual gigs throughout the academic year and is directed by Kathryn E. Briggs
About the University Singers
The University Singers are the auditioned mixed choir at the University of Portland. The group performs 2-3 times per semester, singing music in a variety of styles including classical and popular as well as secular and sacred.
