Washington D.C. Poet Joseph Ross Reads from his Latest Collection, "Ache"




Poet Joseph Ross is set to read from his latest collection of poems, "Ache." Ross has published three books of poetry and his poems have appeared in The Los Angeles Times, Poet Lore, Tidal Basin Review, Beltway Poetry Quarterly, and Drumvoices Revue. He has received multiple Pushcart Prize nominations and he won the 2012 Pratt Library / Little Patuxent Review Poetry Prize. He currently teaches English and Creative Writing at Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C.

About "Ache"

"Ache" is a collection of poems focusing on the marginalized and those who have historically been silenced. Topics covered throughout the poems include immigrants crossing the border, police brutality, and other contemporary and extremely relevant issues on the minds of many people in the world today.
